Thank you for your interest in applying for the Downingtown Heat College Book Scholarship Award! Scholarship awards will be up to $1,000 per winner.

Please read the following eligibility information and award information below:

Any high school senior who currently or has in the past played for the Downingtown Heat for one full Spring Season is eligible to apply, if the following conditions are met:

• Applicant must fill out a scholarship application with the following info here: https://forms.gle/eShNSaLKYc7uFfd87
  • Applicant provides their high school transcript that meets minimum GPA requirement of 2.7 out of a 4.0 unweighted scale.
  • Applicant provides an official letter of acceptance from the school they will be attending.
  • Applicant submits an essay describing how being involved with the Downingtown Heat impacted his/her life and how will the lessons learned during this time benefit him/her in the future.
• Applicant provides a letter of recommendation from a former high school teacher or coach. Please send your recommender this link to be filled out: https://forms.gle/pQkzGpjseCKmnMn8A

Scholarship applications will be accepted from April 15th – May 22nd 2023.

Winners will be announced no later than June 1st, 2023.

If you are chosen for an award, scholarship payment will occur after we receive a verified schedule from the applicant’s school registrar. This must be completed prior to 9/30/2023 and schedules may be sent to info@dheatbasketball.com
